VS Solar One Company Ltd. is developing solar power projects in Bolikhamxay and Salavan provinces of Lao PDR.

As of mid 2026 the three Bolikhamxay Projects are about 50% completed with plans to connect the projects to the EDL power grid by June 2026.

The combined capacity of the 3 sites in Bolokhamxay province is 7.5 MW with one site of 2 MW near Phonsavanh village, another of 3 MW near Pak Kading town and the 3rd site at 2.5 MW near Thabok village.

The company plans to further expand the project’s installed solar capacity in Bolikhamxay province to 15 MW in the future.

The newer Salavan Project is a 9.5 MW solar energy project at three sites that officially commenced construction in Salavan province on 29 May 2026 as seen in image below. There is optimistic hope for this project to be completed by the end of 2026.

The Salavan project includes a 3 MW installation at Taopoun village in Salavan district, another 3 MW facility in the area of Phakkha village in Vapi district and a 3.5 MW site at Paloy village in Ta-Oy district.

Memorandums on electricity offtake and pricing for all three Salavan projects have been signed with Electricite du Laos (EDL). Electricity generated from the projects is planned to be supplied to communities across Salavan province.

An official concession agreement for the Salavan project was signed on November 13, 2025. Not sure of the time limit for this agreement.

VS Engineering Company Ltd. has been appointed as the Salavan project’s construction contractor.
