Nam Ang hydropower project is located near Nam Ngone Village, Xansay District, Attapeu Province in the south of Lao PDR.

The project is developed and 100% owned by Chaleun Sekong Energy, sometimes known as CS Energy or CSE.
The project is apparently still in the construction phase in 2024.
Nam Ang is a run-of-river project with a small reservoir capacity of 120,000 cubic meters.
The project capacity is 55 MW from 2 pelton turbines which are expected to generate 163 GWh of electricity annually.
The power generated from the project will be sold to Electricite du Laos under a power purchase agreement and be transmitted 25 km along a 115 kV transmission line to Xekaman Sanxay substation.
The net head of the project is 337.6 meters.
The penstock length is 500 meters.
